Marie-Louise Plum is a British illustrator based in London.
Working freehand in pen and ink, Marie-Louise creates creepy characters and fantastical vignettes full of mischief and humour.
As well as good ol’ fashioned editorial illustration, Marie has worked on a varied range of projects including a large scale wall piece for Forest Hall in Edinburgh, custom made Moleskine design for Modofly and wooden puzzles (one which even snuck its way in to the Victoria & Albert Museum, London).
2008 saw the incarnation of her contemporary spirit masks, with interactive live art installations taking place in Edinburgh, London and South East England. An exhibition of interactive live art and illustration toured the UK in 2010.
Marie is currently working on her circus themed exhibition, a body of work which includes illustrations on paper as well as more unconventional objects.
